Ishq is the story of a jovial guy Rahul who meets Priya (Nitya Menon) on a flight to Hyderabad. The plane makes an emergency landing in Goa. Slowly, the fall in love with each other. Up on reaching Hyderabad, the story takes an interesting twist. Priya’s brother Shiva (Ajay) and Rahul share bad past. And what happens next forms the actual story.

    How they Performed?:

The role of Rahul is undoubtedly the career best performance of Nithin. His performance is cool and characterization os good. He and Nitya Menen share excellent on screen chemistry.Nitya looked superb and bubbly on screen. She is extremely gorgeous in saree.

Maryada Ramanna fame Nagineedu is ok as Nithya’s father. Ajay is good in the role of Shiva. He shows fine variations in different roles. Ali, Srinivas Reddy and Thagubothu Ramesh brought in enough laughs. Satya Krishna and Sindu Tholani do not have enough screen space.

    Technical Performances:

Director Vikram Kumar dealt the first half of the movie very well. He should have handled the screenplay of second half with care. The second half becomes predictable and is slowed down. Cinematography by PC Sri Ram is awesome and doubled the beauty on screen. Kudos to him.

Dialogues are hilarious in comedy scenes. Editing is good. All the songs are good and well screened.

    Final Say:

Nithin had finally got the much needed break of his career after 14 continuous flops. The movie is a cool entertainer like Ala Modhalaindhi. With good publicity, the movie can rake good numbers at box office. Go for it!
