• Did Nag Lie That Day ?

Actor Nagarjuna who announced that his new film that was originally titled as ‘Rummy’ has now been changed to ‘KD’. Nagarjuna said that the change in title was necessitated as Rummy was already registered and the producer had demanded 12 lakhs for giving the title to him.

The producer in question, Surendra took serious objection to Nagarjuna’s statement that he had demanded 12 lakhs to transfer the title. The producer said that no one approached him for the title and as such there was no question of his demanding 12 lakhs.

The producer said that if Nagarjuna or producer Sivaprasad Reddy had approached him with a request for the title he would have willingly obliged without asking for a penny.

The producer said that he had registered the title Rummy more than a year ago and even signed up Sivaji as hero. The film did not take off as the director Sarat Chandr had died in an accident.

The producer said that he respected Nagarjuna very much and was pained to see that he was speaking without verifying the facts.
