2011 have ended with lot of grief for Veterans of Telugu film Industry. After Ilayaraja and Dasari Narayana Rao, it is now Akkineni Nageswar Rao who lost his better half on Wednesday morning. Akkineni Annapurna after whom the famous Annapurna studios is named after, was 79 years old.  She was undergoing dialysis for kidney related ailments for quite a long for now finally breathed her last.

Annapurna was born in Denduluru in West Godavari and she married Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu on February 19th 1949.She presented all the movies produced on Annapurna Studios banner.
