Hansika will reprise the role of Nitya Menen in the Tamil remake of Ishq which will introduce Jaya Pradha’s nephew, Siddharth in to movies.  Hansika reportedly liked the script very much and is under going a fitness programme to slim down for the movie. Nitya Menen and Nithin’s freshness and on screen chemistry was one of the success reasons of Ishq. And the makers of the Tamil remake are keen to recreate the magic once again.

The film would be directed by Rajashekar and produced by yesteryear actress and politician Jayapradha.
