Reports emerging from Kerala will be nothing less than that of a shock. Theater owners in Kerala are planning to shut down onJuly 9th demanding action on Piracy. They have announced that they will take their agitation to the next level in case the state government does not respond.
The stringent action will include indefinite shut down of theaters from July 10th. If this happens it will be a huge blow for Baahubali makers who are contemplating a big release for the dubbed version of the movie there.
Malayalam film industry is a real small industry which churns out very limited budgets. Piracy is taking a heavy toll in the industry for a long time. Baahubali is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil while the movie is dubbed in to Hindi and Malayalam. All the four versions are releasing on July 10th across the globe.
