• PIL filed in high court over Baahubali Black ticketing

Cine audience Association President, Narasimha Rao had filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the high court over the black marketing of Baahubali tickets. The complainant alleged that the producers, distributors and exhibitors joined hands in illegally hiking the ticket prices and also endangering the lives of the audience while standing in queues which are leading to stampedes.

The PIL may come to hearing tomorrow in the high court. It is also said that some people have placed a complaint with Telangana Home Minister. On the other side, Joint Collector Nivas announced that all the tickets should be sold at prices allowed by the government and should be given in counters and online sites. The JC had ordered deployment of police at the theaters in the first week of its release.

Black ticketing had seen new heights for this movie as the prices are hiked openly and are cashing the craze in the audience. The makers have remained tight-lipped on the issue under the pretext of making the costliest film in the history of Indian Cinema.
