Tollywood’s Most Successful director, SS Rajamouli got the much awaited National Award in Best Film Category, a feat achieved for the first time in Telugu Cinema history. The award was presented by the President of India the other day at an event in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Rajamouli had a chit-chat with media after the awards event. He attributed his success to his grand father whose bed time stories inspired the stories he make today. All those are the stories are related to Indian history and country’s greatness, Rajamouli added. Even though, he never thought of becoming a director, the stories haunted him always.
The ace director who is a popular name across the country with the super success of Baahubali, when asked if he is trying to go to Hollywood, revealed that it is never in his thoughts. He expressed his wish to do films of Akbar, Maharana Pratap and other great kings who ruled the country.
