A rogue (Ishaan) has a tragic flashback of a Love Failure and decides to take care of a family whom he has hurt back then. Seeing his big heart, Anjali (Mannara Chopra) falls in love with him. But then, a psycho (Thakur Anoop Singh) is after Anjali. Rest of the story is all about the Rogue’s Flashback and how the present love story succeeds at the end.
Puri Jagannadh always brings the best out of an actor with unique body language and mass mannerisms. Ishan fits the bill well even though he is not at ease fully in dialogue delivery but performs really well in the action sequences. Mannara Chopra is fine in a typical Puri heroine role. Angela is mostly confined to glamour part. Thakur Anoop Singh gets a career defining role as a Psycho with a comic touch. Ali, Subbaraju, Avinash, and Tulasi are okay.
Puri Jagannadh does well with the direction but he let himself down with the content. The characters are very unconvincing but the dialogues are good. Rude Hero Characterization, Glamourous Heroines, Villany with Comic Touch, Ali Comedy Track and Bangkok Beaches give us a feel that Puri follows a template for most of his films since Pokiri and the hangover continue in Rogue as well.
Sunil Kashyap’s Songs are alright while the background score is good here and there. Camera work by Mukesh is decent and Editing by Junaid could have been better. The Production Values of Tanvi Films are Very Good.

Story and Screenplay
Puri Jagannadh is still searching for his Old Form which is lost somewhere a few years back. The audience is bored with the routine formulaic content and its high time, Puri reinvents himself.
