In December 2015, Trade Analysts and Distributors were worried about the Sankranthi Box-Office clash. As many as 4 Telugu film were released in between January 13th to 15th.
Surprisingly, all the four films have got the audience in this festival season. Young Tiger NTR’s Nannaku Prematho got released in 1700 theaters across the globe and this film earned close to 16 crores on it’s first day. In it’s first week, Nannaku Prematho collected 42 crores and the film is expected to surpass the 50 cr mark by the end of this weekend.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator was released on January 14th and this film has done well in the B & C Centers of Andhra & Ceded regions. Dictator collected 13-14 crores in it’s first weekend and for the first time, Balakrishna was seen promoting his film aggressively across all the mediums.
Sharwanand’s Express Raja earned 6.5 cr in it’s first week and the buyers are likely to enter into the profit zone by the end of this weekend.
Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana collected 18 crores in its first weekend and the film is continuing its solid run at the box-office. Trade Analysts are predicting that this film has the potential to cross the full run collections of Nagarjuna’s previous best Manam.
