Shankar is considered as one of the finest filmmakers in India. Most of his movies minted money at the box-office and he never disappointed the audience till date with his films. His much awaited Magnum-Opus ‘I’ is all set for Diwali release. Speculations were made that the shooting part wasn’t completed and the film might not be released on time. However, producer Aascar Ravichandran said “Please don’t believe in rumors about our film. Shooting part of a song is pending and it will be completed by the end of September. We are confident enough to say that the film will release for this Diwali and will definitely entertain the audience”. Meanwhile, business of ‘I’ has already 150 crores. As per the reports, Telugu version of I has been acquired for a whopping amount of 30 crores and the Tamil theatrical were bought for 100 crores and the Hindi version might go for 25-30 crores. ‘I’ has become the costliest film ever made in South India and the expectations are high on this movie. Star cast includes Vikram, Amy Jackson, Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel and Santhaanam etc. Aascar Ravichandran is producing ‘I’ and the film will be releasing on October 23, 2014.
