Soggade Chinni Nayana Movie Review: After a long time, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna have teamed up for Soggade Chinni Nayana. Lavanya Tripathi is the second heroine and Kalyan Krishna is making his directorial debut with Soggade Chinni Nayana. Let us check out the review to know more about the film.
Ram Mohan (Nagarjuna) and his wife Seetha (Lavanya) lives in the USA. Due to some marital problems, they are back to their hometown in Rajahmundry. At the same time, Ram Mohan’s father Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) is back from hell with the permission of Yama Dharmaraj, as the former has some unsettled business left on the earth. Rest of the story is all about how Bangarraju helped his son to win over Seetha and how he takes the revenge on the goons.
Soggade Chinni Nayana is completely Nagarjuna’s film. This Akkineni hero excelled with his energetic performance and he carried the entire film on his shoulders. The best part of the film is the first half, where entertainment is filled in each and every scenes.
However, the pace drops drastically in the second half and the film become predictable from there. Debutant Kalyan Krishna passed his initial test with flying colours as he was able to entertain the audience with Bangarraju’s character. But, he should have concentrated more on the second half of the film, as it looks very boring, without any entertainment.
Ramya Krishna delivered a mature performance and he complimented Nagarjuna’s energetic role. Lavanya Tripathi did her job and Brahmanandam was ok. Naga Babu as Yama Dharma Raju was good.
Music by Anup Rubens is simple and good. Nagarjuna took a lot of time to complete this film as they had to re-shoot 40 percent of the film.
Length of the Film
Final Word: Soggade Chinni Nayana is a one-time watch film and Nagarjuna entertains with his energetic performance.
