Samantha is the first choice heroine for any big movie in Telugu but luck is not favouring her in Tamil. She had to opt out of the prestigious  Mani Rathnam’s Kadal and Shankar’s I. She is now being considered Suriya’s upcoming project under the direction of Linguswamy. The movie is a bilingual which will be made in Telugu and Tamil.

However, Samantha is yet to sign the dotted line. Sources close to her say that the actress is keen on grabbing this opportunity provided her dates permit.
