Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams, who spent 127 days in the International Space Station doing research work has safely returned to earth along with her two colleagues on the early hours of Monday according to Indian Time. Sunita Williams, flight Engineers Yuri Malenchenko and Aki Hoshhide have safely landed at town Arkalyk in Kazakhstan today.
This is the second visit to space station for the 47 year old Sunita Williams. Earlier, she spent more than 6 months in the space in years 2006-07. She has to her credit of 50 hours and 40 minutes space walk which is a record as far as the female astronauts are concerned.
