YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again applied for his bail in CBI court Nampally on Friday, this time with technical reasons. He has applied for a statutory bail this time since 90 days were over after filing his first charge sheet by CBI. Earlier, when he approached Supreme Court for the bail, the court has not only refused to grant him bail but also advised him not to apply for bail until CBI completes its investigation against his illegal assets. The court has refused him bail because by then 90 days were not completed after his first charge sheet filed by CBI. Hence considering his application date has refused him bail.
So, Jagan has once again applied for the bail hoping the technical reason could bail him out of jail. Jagan, in his latest bail application has told the court that despite completing 90 days in the jail, still the CBI is intentionally prolonging the investigation. So, he deserves bail under section 167(2) of CRPC.
