• Karnataka and TN worried as Naidu goes on biz hunt

Post Chandra Babu Naidu losing office in 2004, both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka reaped the benefit of a lack of strong industry friendly approach government. One would have expected him to go easy on IT and concentrate on liberal economic policies for the rest of the industry verticals. However, CBN has been strong visionary and continues to be one even today.

With Chandra Babu Naidu garnering $2bn investments in IT that is expected to come in over a span of next 5 years, the neighbouring states are getting uncomfortable in their shoes. There are news that the neighbouring governments have reached out to Modi and raising alarms over the unfair practices that CBN is executing to lure investors to the new Andhra Pradesh state.

Is the fact that Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are getting jittery, a manifestation of Andhra Pradesh’s economic revival under the leadership of CBN.
