• No pressures in Jagan’s case: CBI

The out going CBI Director AP Sing, in his recent press meet held at New Delhi briefed about YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s case. He said “CBI will not arrest anyone without having concrete proofs. More over there are courts to monitor us. Out of the cases that we take-up around 70% found guilty and sent to jail. I believe Jagan’s case is also not exceptional. We wrote letters to some foreign countries to gather certain information about his business deals. I think it may take a minimum 3 months time to complete this process.”

He added “I don’t agree with those people in the state, who says we are under pressures from certain forces. No one can interfere in our investigation and I assure that there are no pressures on us from anyone. Our joint director Lakshmi Narayana, who is handling Jagan’s case in the state, is a man whom no one can influence.”

“I would like to make it clear that, if he (Jagan) is really innocent then he wouldn’t be in jail for so many months. Even the courts were refusing to grant him bail,” said CBI Director AP Singh.
