• SC, ST bill: CM claims credit, Botsa says else

The prestigious SC, ST Sub plan bill of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy government brings out the differences between him and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana again. Although both of they diplomatically explained the media about the bill, media observes both their versions were different.

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy claiming the entire credit of the bills said “We have introduced this bill as promised in the Assembly sessions during last year. Our state will be role model to rest of the states in the country. We have seen in the past that these funds being diverted for the development of the places like Tankbund andNecklace Road, which actually is intended for SC, STs welfare. So, our government has created such a system that it will never repeat in the future. My government believes that every Rupee sanctioned for back ward classes should reach them without being misused. That’s why we have taken initiative in bringing the bill.”

Botsa explained it as an historical event in the state. He said all this happened only because of Madam Sonia Gandhi’s directions and upon National Advisory Board suggestions. He said both the Center and NAB has directed all the state governments to bring this bill at the earliest and A.P. is first to bring this historical bill, said PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.
