YS Jagan arrested

After three days of high drama, Country’s Premiere investigating agency, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested YSR Congress president Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy in the illegal assets case on Sunday night. Prohibitory orders were enforced all over Andhra Pradesh.

High alert was given in all major towns and cities. Security personnel staged flag marches in several towns and the A.P. State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) had decided to curtail bus services in all the sensitive areas.

Even before the formal announcement was made, Mr. Jagan’s mother and honorary president of YSR Congress Ms. Vijayamma, his wife, Ms. Bharati, sister, Sharmila and brother-in-law Anil Kumar rushed to Dilkusha Guest House to visit Jagan. The Kadapa MP will be produced in the special court for CBI cases on Monday. YSR Congress Party had given a call for state wide bandh tomorrow.
