Chandra Babu Naidu, in his address at APNGOs Felicitation event said that he will develop Vijayawada city but he did not reasserted that Vijayawada will be made Capital of the state. Speaking in the meeting with party workers, he said that a decision on the location of the state capital will be finalized by the end of August, once the Shivarama Krishnan Committee tables its report. He said that he is also thinking on the lines of arranging temporary arrangement. The Chief Minister also hinted at the possibility of constructing few building for important departments in AP and keeping the rest in Hyderabad at least for the time being. He seems has second thoughts about building capital between Vijayawada and Guntur and also about moving into AP. This change in his plans happens only after Shivarama Krishnan Committee talked to him in details about the new capital. Probably, that is why the committee members are still continue their search in Rayalaseema areas for perfect location for the new capital.Chandrababu Naidu may agreed with the expert committee suggestions and decides to wait until they table the report.

Movie Artists Association (MAA) president Murali Mohan rubbishing the speculations about film industry plans to shift to Andhra Pradesh soon said, “There is no truth in those reports about industry shifting to Andhra Pradesh. It takes 20 years for industry to settle in Hyderabad when it was shifted from Chennai. So, Film Industry can’t afford to shift to Andhra Pradesh in the present situation. It will remain in Hyderabad only and won’t move anywhere. We will try to bring Chief Ministers of both states to a common platform very soon and make them give assurance to Film Industry for its safety and co-operation by both governments. We have already talked to Telangana Chief Minister KCR in this regard and he positively responded to our proposal. We are sure that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will also agree to make a statement from a common platform. ”
